Fire Safety Management

Fire risk is a 24/7 concern for all businesses and the assessment and management of that risk are complicated by the individual characteristics of every organisation and every environment and the pace of their change.

To ensure the safety of your staff, buildings, and assets, you need the help of expert fire safety consultants. These consultants can analyse every situation, and are not tied to any particular remedies, but can give timely, specific advice and independent recommendations.

Our team of fire risk assessors all have NEBOSH fire safety and risk management and fire safety and risk practical certificates, together with a thorough understanding of Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order (RR(FS)O). We also have consultants who are associate members of the Institute of Fire Engineering (IFE) or who are Tall Buildings Fire Safety Management qualified within our team. They produce tailored fire risk assessments, highlighting the exact location of hazards. 

Our fire safety consultants can also advise you on the use of our online compliance management solution Assurity Plus 2.0 to view the real-time progress of your allocated actions, simplify the way you work, demonstrate greater compliance control, have useable management reporting, and enhanced the visibility of risks.

BAFE SP205

We are recognised by BAFE – a Fire Safety Register in being fully compliant with the requirements of BAFE SP205, a life safety fire risk assessment scheme, that provides independent evidence of our competency to deliver fire risk assessments.

The scheme is managed and maintained by BAFE, which is a UK-based organisation that delivers quality, independent evidence that providers are competent to deliver quality fire risk assessment services. The scheme is delivered by UKAS accredited certification bodies licensed by BAFE, who have seen evidence of our fire risk assessments, and they will audit us on an ongoing basis (at least annually), to make sure that we continue to comply with the BAFE SP205 scheme requirements. As a certified organisation we have the added benefit of being listed on the BAFE Fire Risk Assessors register.

Primary Authority Direct Partnership - Assured advice for fire risk assessments

Assurity Consulting operates a Primary Authority Direct Partnership with a fire and rescue service under the Primary Authority Scheme. This partnership covers our fire risk assessments.

This means that the methodology adopted in delivering our fire risk assessments has been independently reviewed and meets the requirements to provide a suitable and sufficient assessment. 

Following the work carried out by the fire and rescue service, which included fire risk assessment audit visits, documentation and procedure reviews, the report issued identified that the FRA policy, processes, training, monitoring, evaluation and review as a methodology is of a very high calibre.
