BNP Paribas Invests in the Future of their Workplaces
In the United Kingdom, BNP Paribas’ 8,000 staff deliver a wide range of financial services to institutions, corporations and individuals through their different businesses: BNP Paribas Corporate and Investment Banking, Investment Solutions and Equipment Solutions.
Over 20 years ago BNP Paribas was having recurrent problems with their water treatment management (cooling towers etc) which if unresolved, could have potentially disrupted their business operations. Assurity Consulting were commissioned to provide expert advice on the provision and design of wet cooling systems for their headquarters.
John Baldwin, Building Services Manager and his team had the responsibility to satisfy the needs of a demanding workforce and to demonstrate statutory compliance. The working partnership with Assurity Consulting helped them to provide a safe and comfortable working environment for their employees across all their corporate offices. They were also reassured that all their wet cooling and domestic systems were under control. Going forward Assurity Consulting provided the provision of workplace environmental assessments, Legionella risk assessments and awareness training, asbestos surveys and fire risk assessments.
They received independent verification that all major contractors (maintenance, catering and vending) are performing in line with agreed standards. Assurity Consulting has also provided Assurity Plus, an online compliance management solution for BNP Paribas to seamlessly view and manage reports, actions and overall compliance standards.
