Over 400 students attended the fair to speak with local employers about what their options are after graduation, as well as employment opportunities they may have to offer. We were able to speak with a number of students about what we do, what they are looking for, and our Graduate Consultant role.
I joined Assurity Consulting in 2005 straight after graduating from University. The Consultant role is so varied, which I really like. Each day is different, and I am given the flexibility to manage my own time.

Our Graduate Consultant role develops skills in a number of areas, from technical skills - such as delivering our services and the legal side of health and safety, to commercial skills - such as networking, selling and account management. We were also able to speak to students at the University of Sussex about how we look after the wellbeing of our employees. From having trained mental health first aiders in our office, to holding social events such as employee lunches, Christmas parties, wellbeing walks and team outings to take part in activities such as roller-skating - we like to give back to our people for all their hard work. We also get involved with our local community, and give our employees one paid day every year to volunteer for a charity of their choice.
