As with both previous years, workplaces will remain a focus for many organisations, with health, safety and welfare, as well as sustainability, providing both opportunities and challenges. The global pandemic is still exerting pressures and with hopefully more to come from COP 26, these opportunities and challenges are likely to be many and varied.

At Assurity Consulting our main aim is to continue to deliver high quality, accurate and reliable data information and knowledge for those responsible for managing organisations and workplaces:

  • Unsurprisingly our air and water quality audits remain very popular. Offering totally independent and accredited results and reporting means customers have a verifiable demonstration of performance for both staff and customers/visitors as needed. This is unlikely to change in 2022.
  • The ongoing development of Assurity Plus 2.0 continues at a pace this year with further functionality being added. Feedback from customers on the speed, tailoring and flexibility of the system has been extremely positive, and the platform enhancements are allowing us to do what many other, older tech-based systems, cannot. This too has been recognised by many user’s feedback.
  • We will also continue to invest our time and expertise in supporting our industry maintain skills and awareness, through our membership of and affiliations with groups such as IWFM, BCO, IIRSM, CIBSE, IoD, RSPH, BEIS, WMSoc, London Health and Safety Group and our local authority partners.

Finally, the new year is also traditionally a time to reflect on what has happened in the past and overwhelmingly for me it is the with the relationships and commitment of both our staff and customers in what we achieve. Albeit far more remotely in many instances over the last year, but let’s hope in 2022, this does change.
