The guide is designed to provide information for organisations to understand the right requirements for them to manage their health and safety proportionately.

With links to other resources, the online tool covers four main sections:

  • Overview;
  • Find the right guidance for your business;
  • How to manage health and safety; and
  • The law

Targeted at primarily organisations at the start of their health and safety journey, with advice for both large and small organisations, the guidance also focuses on “Plan, Do, Check, Act” and the principles and processes within to create a workable and effective management system.

It is not just new organisations looking to develop their health and safety that we are seeing interest from, however. With the post-COVID-19 workplace, wellbeing, and ESG agendas all demanding greater attention to health and safety, reviewing where you are and making your management fit for purpose today is a good move for all organisations.

Changes in working patterns, occupancy, and building utilisation are seeing prevailing risks change. As a consequence, risk registers, arrangements, and even policies need to be adapted accordingly too. Having the reassurance that what you have in place is fit for purpose for your organisation, and that you are able to demonstrate you’re doing what you say you’re doing, is fundamental to success.
