James’ vision is for Assurity Consulting to be the automatic first choice for our customers in all workplace compliance issues and firmly believes that customer service is the key.

After gaining a BSc (Hons) in Environmental Biology at the University of Greenwich, James worked as a Laboratory Manager in an ethical, environmentally aware cosmetics laboratory. Here he worked on the quality systems, which transferred well to Assurity Consulting. First starting as a Consultant, then becoming the Quality Manager, James helped achieve our ISO 9001:2008 and ISO 14001:2004 registrations. James then became Business Support Manager before moving into his current role.

Since joining Assurity Consulting in 1999, he has focused on air and water quality management, becoming an accomplished auditor, Legionella risk assessor and Legionella trainer. He has also developed our closed water systems team and supports customers with independent management reviews of their closed water management strategy.

Outside of work, James is a keen petrol head, and will rarely have an empty garage. He typically restores old air-cooled Volkswagens, varying from beach buggies to camper vans and the odd kit car. Previous projects have been featured in the national motoring press and exhibited at key motor shows. He manages to involve the family on trips to shows through the summer.
