We have our own laboratory based at our head office in Horsham. All of the samples our Consultants take on site are processed here. Our team of microbiologists currently process around 35,000 samples every year.
With the number of samples being handled, it is imperative that we follow specific procedures in order to maintain the high levels of quality that our customers expect. All of our laboratory analysis and a large proportion of our site work is accredited by UKAS (United Kingdom Accreditation Service) such as our sampling, water testing and air testing.
We are accredited by UKAS (United Kingdom Accreditation Service), for our Legionella risk assessment in commercial premises.
We are accredited for on site testing of pH, Temperature, Bromine and Electrical Conductivity and sampling for subsequent microbiological and chemical analysis to support surveys.
Our Safety, Health, Environment and Quality Coordinator reviews and updates our quality systems regularly to make sure our customers continue to receive an excellent service.
We are accredited by UKAS (United Kingdom Accreditation Service) and BSi, to make sure the results of our environmental audits are reliable and reproducible. With UKAS in particular, this means that our Consultants and laboratory staff follow strict procedures when taking or processing samples.

We are a member of the Legionella Control Association - Registration No: 1999/641. Assurity Consulting is a registered Legionella Control Association Code of Conduct service provider. We are regularly audited and assessed by the LCA for a range of services designed to control risks associated with the Legionella bacteria.
These services include Legionella risk assessments, training, and an on-site service supported by laboratory analytical services using our own in-house UKAS accredited laboratory. Each of these services complies with the Code and Service Standards set out by the Legionella Control Association. Holding our certification to the Legionella Control Association shows that we are clear about what we do, and how it is done and that we are confident in our knowledge and commitment when providing our services.
